Amanda is a chartered chemical engineer and Head of Carbon and Circular Economy in Jacobs' Water Europe Business. She works with water utilities around the world in decarbonisation with a particular focus on the importance of reducing process emissions of nitrous oxide and methane from water resource recovery facilities and the associated resource recovery opportunities and challenges. She is passionate about the necessary transition to a circular economy within planetary boundaries and the critical role utilities and professionals in the water sector have in enabling this in order to create a future we can be proud to leave our children.
