Gareth Lees, MSc PhD CEng, is a highly skilled technical engineering manager with over 30 years of experience in photonics. Holding a PhD in optical fiber sensors from the Optoelectronics Research Center (ORC), Southampton, he has contributed to leading organizations such as British Telecom, Agilent Technologies, Marconi Optical Components, Schlumberger and AP Sensing. Most recently, as the CIO of BlueGrid Water Intelligence, an LWF Group Company, Gareth has driven the development of optical sensing products for the water industry, showcasing his proficiency through over 75 patents and publications.
