An Environmental Engineer by training, Helge leads the water practice at Emerald, a globally recognized Climate Tech investor with a 25 year investment history. Part of this history includes unique traction in the water space, with successful exits to major industry players (SUEZ, XYLEM and BASF) with companies like Pure Technologies and Optimatics. In 2020, Emerald closed a USD 100m global water tech fund with commitments from Temasek, SKion Water, Ecolab and Microsoft. In 2025, Emerald achieved the first close of its second global water fund at EUR 60m.
