John operates at the intersection of technology, venture investing, and water/wastewater. With 14 years in water/wastewater, he has experience in most end-user markets, and has worked across nearly every technology vertical with a particularly strong focus on data science-related innovations. The investment group he co-founded, Mazarine, operates an in-house incubator, seed-stage fund, and a growth-stage fund all focused on technology innovations that address water/wastewater risks in agriculture, aquaculture, buildings, financial services, industry, and utilities. With aspirations beyond simply commercial opportunity, John is passionate about water quality and public health (social impact) and water quantity and climate change (environmental impact).
