Mehrdad is the co-founder and CTO of Mantisonix, a University of Surrey spinout focused on addressing global PFAS contamination through pioneering sustainable remediation technologies. He completed his PhD at the University of Surrey, advancing the TRL of sonolysis for degrading persistent organic pollutants. With over a decade of experience in CleanTech R&D, IP development, and commercialisation, including industrial wastewater treatment and advanced oxidation processes, Mehrdad brings a strong track record of translating innovative research into market-ready solutions.
