Mike Wingell is a dynamic professional with a strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), dedicated to driving positive change in the water industry. Graduating from Coventry University, Mike earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics 

Joining Anglian Water, a renowned utility company committed to sustainability and innovation, Mike quickly established himself as a key asset. Driven by his passion for data-driven decision-making, Mike delved into the realm of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). He became proficient in spatial analysis, mapping, and data visualization, recognizing the transformative potential of GIS in the water industry. He has since progressed up to the Strategy Manager role and takes a wider responsibility for GIS across the enterprise. 

At Anglian Water, Mike has led groundbreaking initiatives that combined his knowledge of the business with his GIS proficiency. He spearheaded cross-functional teams in developing advanced models to optimize and target proactive work on the sewer network, minimizing environmental impact, and elevating customer satisfaction. His development in geospatial applications to bring about a single glass pane of the organization has changed the way they look at situational awareness, and his innovative approaches not only improved operational performance but also positioned Anglian Water as a leader in sustainable water management practices.
