Tad Bohannon is the Chief Executive Officer of Central Arkansas Water, providing retail and wholesale water and wastewater services to approximately 500,000 people in 8 counties. With over 30 years of experience in the water and wastewater sector, he has been a leader (and frequently a protagonist) in numerous regionalism projects and the depoliticization of water supply. Tad remains strategically focused on protecting public health, improving employee development, ensuring system reliability, promoting environmental sustainability, maintaining financial viability, and upholding independent governance. Tad serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies, the Association of Regional Water Organizations, the Water Research Foundation, and the Arkansas Water & Wastewater Association.
