ANB Sensors
ANB Sensors is a water quality sensor technology company that have developed the world’s first calibration-free, solid state, pH sensor.
- About their product/solution: Based in Cambridge UK, ANB Sensors is a water quality sensor technology company that have developed the world’s first calibration-free, solid state, pH sensor. This is an entirely new pH sensing technology not seen before in any other pH sensors.
A typical water utility company uses 20-100 pH sensors within their production operations. Each of these traditional sensors must be calibrated at least once every 2 months, and often monthly. Every day from calibration, the data accuracy received from these sensors degrades.
Our calibration-free pH sensors never require calibration, are solid state (no glass), require no special storage or immersion conditions and do not suffer from electrode drift.
This means a reduction in annual capex spend, operational costs, and maintenance hours required while also eliminating the inaccuracy and loss of data confidence caused by electrode drift. The technology saves a minimum of 12 to 20 hours of labour, per year, per sensor, in a water treatment context. - No. of employees: 8

- Looking to engage with: We are looking to engage with water and utility companies who will speak with us about their specific needs, so we can build a support package to make our sensors the perfect fit for water / utility use cases.
We are also seeking opportunities to trial with UK and global water companies, including within water treatment, water production, and any other situation where accurate calibration-free pH sensors would be valuable.
